TJPA ANNOUNCES NEW SLATE OF 2026 HIGH SEASON PROGRAMMING AT SALESFORCE PARK
San Francisco, CA — The Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA), in coordination with neighborhood partner, East Cut Community Benefit District (CBD), today announced a new slate of 2026 high-season programming schedule, effective May 1st through October 31st at the TJPA’s Salesforce Park. This year will be one of the busiest yet, with nearly 20 free public programs offered in the park each week. From new outdoor concerts and cultural programs to the return of family favorites like Drum Circle, there’s no better place in San Francisco for fun, free, daily events, all-summer long, than Salesforce Park, found 70 feet up in the sky.
“We invite the community to visit Salesforce Park for our new upcoming slate of activities starting May 1st, which will feature an array of free events for kids, families, music and fitness lovers, and a variety of other exciting classes,” said Adam Van de Water, TJPA Executive Director. “With more programs planned for 2026, we’re thrilled to open our doors for an even greater number of new and returning visitors to Salesforce Park and Salesforce Transit Center.”
The new slate of 2026 programming activities complements the programs offered in 2025 that brought over 45,000 people through 660 free activities to Salesforce Park.
2026 Programming highlights include:
-- Get fit this summer by joining up to six weekly fitness classes provided by our local tenant, Fitness SF! From Zumba, Yoga, Bootcamp, and more, there’s a free class weekly to choose from at the speed and intensity you seek.
-- Find inspiration at the new weekly Words and Stories poetry series at a new location in the Wetland Garden! Stay after for the Writing Workshop and immerse yourself in live readings from poets across the Bay Area, sharing powerful voices and original work every week from 1-1:30 p.m. through October.
-- Grab your picnic blanket and enjoy a brand-new weekly series called Live on the Lawn on Thursdays from 12-1:30 p.m.! Live on the Lawn is the park’s fourth weekly live music series, featuring musicians trained at the San Francisco Rock Project performing a variety of genres on the Central Lawn during the lunch hour. This new addition complements the Park's existing Lunchbox Music, Rooftop Jazz and Bluegrass Breeze music series.
-- Feel the rhythm as you connect with others through a hands-on Drum Circle class every 4th Sunday at the Salesforce Amphitheater. If you’d rather swap the drum for a turntable, check out Plaza Pulse every 1st and 3rd Thursday evening in the Main Plaza and pick up pointers from talented Bay Area DJs.
-- Light up the Main Plaza dance floor with either Bollywood Nights or Argentine Tango! Both classes provide choreography and tips and welcome all skill levels through October.
-- Kids love Salesforce Park! Starting in May, Whimsy Wednesdays joins our busy schedule of children’s programs, including Toddler Tuesday, Library Storytime, and Toddler Thursday. Older kids, be on the lookout for Math Quest, as it comes back this summer so you and your family can continue to solve mysteries using your math and problem-solving skills!
"Salesforce Park is unlike anything else in San Francisco. Everyone who visits is amazed by this hidden oasis in the sky, and the programming we bring to life in the park each summer is a reflection of what downtown can and should be," said Andrew Robinson, Executive Director of The East Cut Community Benefit District. "With nearly 20 free events every week, everyone from families to first-time visitors will discover this park 70 feet above the street. This is what real investment in community looks like. Downtown is thriving, and Salesforce Park is at the center of it.”
The park programming high season launch coincides with Salesforce Park’s transition to its summer hours on May 1st. The park will stay open an hour later, until 9 p.m. through October 31st, which is perfect for those taking in the view of downtown’s city lights.
