TJPA INVITES YOU TO CELEBRATE 2026 TRANSIT MONTH

The Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA), owner and operator of the Salesforce Transit Center and Rooftop Park, invites you to celebrate Bay Area Transit Month this September at the Transit Center. This monthlong regional celebration highlights the vital role public transit plays in making the Bay Area more connected, accessible, and equitable.

Along with free activities throughout the month at our Salesforce Park (rooftop, 4th floor), we have the following two events planned: 
•    September 19 from 2-5pm “We Love LA: A Celebration of High-Speed Rail”
•    September 23, from 3-6 pm with Pop Up Transit Art Fair “Transit That Moves Us”

We Love LA: A Celebration to High Speed Rail

September 19 from 2 - 5 p.m. with Transbay Coalition

The Bay to LA is about to get a whole lot faster, and that's something to celebrate!

On September 19 from 2 - 5 p.m., Transbay Coalition, together with the California High Speed Rail Authority, SF Transit Riders, and Transbay Joint Powers Authority, will be hosting 'We Love LA: A Celebration of High Speed Rail' at the rooftop Salesforce Park of the multimodal Salesforce Transit Center, HSRA’s northern terminus. The event will feature music, games, and speakers that will highlight the progress on high-speed rail to-date, discuss the obstacles it has faced so far, and help us imagine how high-speed rail could change our relationship to LA and California as a whole. 

 

Transit That Moves Us @ TJPA’s Salesforce Transit Center

September 23, from 3-6 pm

What do art and transit have in common? It moves us.

Back for its second year, celebrate Bay Area Transit month by shopping and supporting local artists at TJPA’s Salesforce Transit Center, where the Bay Area’s transportation future is taking shape on Wednesday, September 23rd from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Learn about the Bay Area’s rail modernization projects, including The Portal, Caltrain, BART and California High-Speed Rail, interact with #ThePortalSFtoHSR art installation, and buy transit merch from MUNI and BART.

🎁 Win & Connect

Similar to last year, raffle prizes provided by participating vendors and transit agencies will be given away during the Fair. To qualify, participants need to complete a passport by visiting partnering agency tables. With more vendors donating prizes, there are more opportunities to win.
