Activations and events that are free and open to the public and intended to increase public awareness for a brand or cause, are dealt with differently than non-public event rentals.

Experiential marketing-type uses of the park will be priced on a case-by-case basis to be evaluated by park management staff, depending on the degree of branding/promotional activity and the impact on the park and public. The fee for your event is determined by the following, amongst other considerations:

  • Type of Event: Whether the event is corporate, commercial, promotional, informational, or public.
  • Size and location of event : Central Lawn, Wetlands Garden, Other Area or all.
  • Staging and set up needs: If extensive set up (large structures) is required or heavy-duty equipment is necessary.
  • Length of Time: The total amount of time in the park from load-in through load-out.
To Start the Application Process:

We ask that you submit an Event Proposal. For large-scale or multi-day events, it is recommended that you submit your proposal as far in advance as possible, generally three to six months prior to your preferred event date(s). All proposals, regardless of size, must be received at least 21 days prior to your preferred event date(s).

Executed License Agreement, payment and insurance are due 14 days in advance of an approved event.

Additional Notes:

  • Alcohol service must be provided by Barebottle Brewing, as they hold a liquor license for the whole park. Catering services are not available on site and are subject to approval by the TJPA.
