Specific parts of TJPA's Salesforce Park can be rented in the following ways: a private event that is invitation only or open to the public but requires purchase of a ticket or entrance fee. For this type of rental, the TJPA requires the following steps be taken below:

The Application Process:

You will need to submit a Non-Public Event Proposal to start the application process. All proposals must be received at least 21 days in advance of your preferred event date(s), but as much lead time as possible is preferred. Fill out the form below to submit your proposal.

Non-Public Event Proposal Form

If your event is approved, you must sign a license agreement with the TJPA. Payment of all fees is due in full at least one week in advance of the event date, by wire transfer only. Fees must be paid by the signatory of the final license agreement with the TJPA.

Upon signing an agreement and submitting payment, a Certificate of Insurance (COI), a site plan, and a production schedule in advance of the event are also required. You are responsible for bringing in all event elements needed for your event to be a success, except Park Staff can provide park chairs for event use at no additional charge (up to 50 chairs at the Wetlands Garden, and up to 150 chairs at the Central Lawn). Salesforce Park staff will close off the area to the public with stanchions or barricades, and post signage at the beginning of your rental timeframe.

  • For the latest fee schedule, click here.
  • This pricing is based on a 5-hour rental (assumes a 2-hour event, plus 2 hours of set-up and 1 hour of breakdown time included). If you believe you will need more than 5 hours onsite for any reason, supplemental hourly pricing will be applied.

Additional Notes:

  • There are no required caterers or vendors who must be used at TJPA's Salesforce Park, but TJPA can recommend vendors who have been used at park previously. Alcohol service must be through Barebottle Brewing Company, as they hold a liquor license for the park.
  • For more detailed park information to help you plan your event, refer to the Production Manual.
  • Non-profits (eligible California 501(c)(3)) qualify for a $500 discount per event. To be considered for this discount, an eligible 501(c)(3) non-profit must provide the organization’s Exemption Determination Letter from the IRS. Additionally, TJPA will review the event for consistency with TJPA's mission and in meeting the TJPA's Code of Conduct and Rules and Regulations.
