The new Transbay Transit Center in the heart of downtown San Francisco will be the “Grand Central Station of the West Coast” with 11 different transit systems under one roof. This model for transit-oriented development is transforming the South of Market neighborhood by bringing together jobs, housing, retail, recreation, and open space all in close proximity to transit.
